Brandie Blackler

My name is Brandie and I am much a supporter of the Barrie Art’s Scene, as well as a contributor. I started this website to give more coverage of these events, and more exposure to the artists. I have seen myself the amount of amazing talent and creativity in this area; at the local bar, a solo guitar player shares his songs and stories, down the street, your friends gather to share their ideas and hopeful dreams, the frowned upon artist with the neon paint between the dark buildings where no one wants to go…artistic talent is everywhere. Everywhere, and undiscovered. Wouldn’t the world be a much happier place if we could all tune in to our inner artist and appreciate the seemingly insignificant details of industrial life? After all, it is a reality, so let’s enjoy it and make something of it. This potential something may make the world, or atleast our community, a better place. A place where creative expression is all around, and therefore encouraged.
