Abderrahmane Doukkane, a young photographer who starts and who promises!
The “meaning” is impossible to measure and classify, but it can be expressed in photography. Abderrahmane Doukkane found in water and childhood inspiration and, through his works, sought to convey different values.

Walking through the rivers and the faces of children, the photographer can find a variety of topics, sometimes unusual and lots of light and color.

Water is everywhere, we even have it.Tiny droplet of mist in the vastness of the oceans, it is life. All the more reason for Abderrahmane Doukkane tries to tame.

Water can not only become a market value. It is and must remain our common heritage of mankind.

With its images Abderrahmane Doukkane talent shows with his commitment and his vision of man.

The challenges and issues of water for him and for us, a global priority of development, like those of education.

The world of the rich and the surplus can not forget the shortage and poverty.

His photographs show the faces of children who have a strong personality emphasizing mature adult. The strong personality from the eyes is partly driven by the fact that the subject is assigned an adult role in society that it occupies. The faces that appear on prints show a dual adult-child, with a maturity in the eyes capita juvenile body. The features of the body are those of a child while the light emphasizes a personality forged in difficult living conditions.

Red Sand

Red Sand

This is the first photo in a series from one of my favourite collections of Toronto city shots. It is taken nearly standing in Lake Ontario at the Red Path sugar factory. The building looked like it hadn’t been used in quite some time so I didn’t think that anyone would mind if I took a personal tour. This photo wasn’t originally one of my favourites but my love for the picture came mostly post-production.
